Acceptable Use Rules
Tools is free and open to everyone. These rules keep it fast, safe and available, for you and for other people.

Use the tools for legitimate work
Use the instruments for lawful purposes: everyday calculations, converting your own files, development, study and similar tasks.
What is not allowed
Breaking the law or helping others to do so, including processing content you have no right to use.
Using the API client or any other instrument to attack, scan, overload or access systems without permission.
Trying to access other people’s accounts, bypass rate limits or security controls, or disrupt the service.
Sending spam, malware, abusive or harassing content through the contact form.
Presenting results from Tools as official documents or certified calculations.
Automated access
Search engines and reasonable automated access are welcome within the limits of robots.txt. Do not send requests at a rate that degrades the service for others.
Reporting security issues
If you find a vulnerability, report it through the contact form with the topic “Bug report”. Do not access, change or delete other people’s data, and give us reasonable time to fix the issue before sharing it publicly.
Enforcement
If these rules are broken, we may limit requests, block access, suspend or delete accounts and, where required, inform the authorities.
Reporting abuse
If you see Tools being misused, tell us through the contact form. We review every report.
