Frequently asked questions
How is a ULID different from a UUID?
A ULID starts with a timestamp, so IDs created later sort after earlier ones; a random UUID v4 has no order.
Which alphabet is used?
Crockford's Base32, which avoids look-alike letters such as I, L, O and U.
