FAQ
Frequently asked questions
Why does a space become %20?
URLs cannot contain raw spaces, so each byte that is not allowed is written as % followed by its hex code.
What if the encoded text is broken?
Invalid sequences such as a lone % are reported instead of being decoded incorrectly.
